Recently I have been venturing virtually all over the world, as many of us do these days, visiting places at random or that take my fancy, while avoiding tourist spots. There is the obvious sense of escapism in finding these places, which to me seem exotic, and my strong sense of them seeming exotic could be attributed to the comparatively dull and colour-starved residential landscape that I am used to.

More than that however, in my search I hope to find something that surprises me. This could be anything, but in each image shown in “Fancy” there is something that has affected or intrigued me in some way.
